DID YOU KNOW?.. |
15% of people with autism have limited or no functional language.
They have sensory issues that present as socially unacceptable behaviours. They are not successful in community activities or even specialized programs. They require constant care and many spend 24 hours a day, seven days a week at home with aging parents/caregivers. With thoughtful planning we provide these vulnerable individuals and those who love them a reason to get up in the morning, a place to go, a moment to share, here in their home community in Durham Region. |
We couldn't do it without support from our generous donors, Community Leaders and Funders
